     MORROW, Norma Madeline, 68, MAPLETON, at Presque Isle, February 24, 2016. Calling hours will be held 11 a.m., Friday, March 4, at the Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Fairmount Cemetery. Arrangements by Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

    MAPLETON – Norma Madeline Morrow, 68, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at The Aroostook Medical Center after a long battle with diabetes. She was born October 25, 1947, in Mapleton, the daughter of Joseph H. and Madeline (Cormier) LaPlante.
    Norma worked at Potato Service for a while, took care of the neighborhood children and worked many potato harvest. Norma enjoyed cooking for anyone that walked through her door, for her ploys, chicken stew and donuts that will be greatly missed. Norma also enjoyed gardening and her two cats.
    She is survived by her sons, Robert Morrow and his friend, Michelle of Presque Isle, and Carl Morrow and his wife, Jana of Hamlin; daughters, Tammy Walton and her friend, Randy White of Orono, and Lisa Simpson and her husband, Tracy of Castle Hill; brothers, Richard LaPlante and his wife, Betsy of Mapleton, and Felix LaPlante and his wife, Sally of Oregon, sisters, JoAnn Barnes and her husband, Vernon of Mapleton, and Lorraine Lavoie and her husband, Philip of Mapleton; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
    In addition to her parents, Norma was predeceased by her husband, Carlton Morrow; and brothers, Lionel, Lawrence and Nelson LaPlante.
    Calling hours for family and friends will be held 11 a.m., Friday, March 4, 2016, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle.
