Ashland Boy Scouts hold Court of Honor

 ASHLAND NEWS

    Ashland Boy Scout Troop 179 held their Court of Honor on Feb. 11, 2016 at the Ashland Recreation Center. The boys each received merit badges they have earned over the last year, and those who qualified also received their new ranks.

    The badges and rank advancements were as follows:
Alden Routhier earned 2nd Class rank and merit badges in swimming, small boat sailing, first aid and forestry.
Creed Chasse is now a Tenderfoot and earned a merit badge in snow sports.
Lucien Hammond earned merit badges in photography, rifle and snow sports.
Eli Walker earned Scout and Tenderfoot ranks, and merit badges in personal fitness, basketry, archery and first aid.
Gabriel Page earned his merit badges in personal fitness, fish and wildlife management, sports, snow sports and wood carving.
Jack Routhier earned Star Scout rank and earned his rifle, wilderness survival, fly fishing, personal fitness, forestry and Citizenship in the Nation badges.
Tristan Perreault made Life Scout rank and earned his merit badges in life saving, swimming and camping.
Clark Condon made Scout and Tenderfoot rank and earned fly fishing, wood carving, archery, personal fitness and first aid merit badges.
Dane Driscoll made Scout rank and earned merit badges in wood carving, fly fishing and farm mechanics.
Malcolm Milligan earned a merit badge in forestry.
