PRESQUE ISLE – Angela B. Brooks, 60, passed away early Monday morning, March 21, 2016, at The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle. She was born Oct. 5, 1955, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Raynold and Arleine (Markee) Legassie Sr.
She worked as an office manager for Jed Desmond Accounting, Alan Harding Law Office, Freeman Motor Co., and most recently at County Electric. Angela loved animals, especially horses and dogs. She enjoyed gardening, snowmobiling, and riding horses. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother, Arleine Legassie of Presque Isle; her son, Scott McEntee of Easton; her daughter, Melissa McEntee and her fiancé, Luis Branquinho of Hampton, NH; four brothers: Dennis of Orlando, FL, Ray and his companion, Pamela Wiles of South Portland, Floyd of Presque Isle, and Randy and his wife, Debra of Carmel; four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Brooks in 2010; and her father, Raynold Legassie Sr. in 2015.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m., Thursday, March 24, 2016, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home with the Very Rev. Jean Paul LaBrie officiating. Spring interment will be at North Main Street Catholic Cemetery. Donations may be made in her memory to the Central Aroostook Humane Society, 26 Cross Street, Presque Isle, ME 04769.
