MARS HILL – Wiley A. Doherty, 82, went to his heavenly home on March 31, 2016. He was born on September 12, 1933, the son of George Doherty and Alberta (Bell) Wright.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Davenport) of 53 years; four children and their spouses, David and Donna Doherty, Rod and Beth Davenport, Jody and Ruth Doherty, and Karen and Len Bergeron; two brothers, Sonny and Edith Doherty, and Robert and Leslie Wright; three sisters, Mary Jane Caron, Carol Manson, and Rita Gustin, brothers-in-law, Philip Barnes and Marvin Langley; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Wiley was predeceased by his two brothers, David and Albert Wright; and two sisters, Dixie Langley and Ruth Barnes.
Friends called 1 p.m., Sunday, April 3, 2016, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church Street, Presque Isle, where funeral services were held at 2 p.m. with Pastor Ron LaPointe, Officiating.
