WISHART, Charles Robert, 83, PRESQUE ISLE, at Dallas, PA, April 9, 2016. Interment will be in Green Lawn Cemetery, Clinton. Arrangements are under the care of Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., Plains, PA.
PRESQUE ISLE – Charles Robert Wishart, 83, passed away at the home of his daughter in Dallas, PA, on Saturday, April 9, 2016. Charles was born in Arlington, MA, on January 18, 1933, the son of the late Robert and Anna Hanson Wishart.
He graduated from Clinton High School Class of 1950 and was a member of Anah Temple Shrine and Oriental Band and Presque Isle Masons. Charles enjoyed repairing small motors, flying his airplane and going to air shows.
He belonged to Presque Isle Spud Shufflers Square Dancers and loved his camp at Squa Pan Lake with his family and friends. Charles worked for Ladd Paper Co., Carl Smith Foods, and the Caribou Airport.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Carroll Wishart. Surviving are his wife, Marilyn Hews Wishart with whom he celebrated 62 years of marriage; daughter, Susan Fischbein and her husband, Richard of Dallas, PA; daughter-in-law, Dayna James Wishart of Presque Isle; four grandchildren, Ryan and his wife, Jessica Wishart of Woodland, Shane Wishart of Soldier Pond, Emily Fischbein Piazza and her husband, Greg of Dallas, PA, and Rachel Fischbein of San Francisco, CA; three great-grandchildren, Oliver Piazza of Dallas, PA, Ridge and Brylee Wishart of Woodland; brother, Clyde Wishart of Burnham; and sisters Cynthia and her husband, Max Raye of Bangor, Cyndra and her husband, Dennis Knowles of Detroit. Charles is also survived by a very special mother-in-law, Velma Lundbeck, Clinton.
Interment will be in Green Lawn Cemetery, Clinton. At his request, there will be no calling hours.
