DI raises funds for Worlds
WASHBURN NEWS
Washburn District High School has two Destination Imagination teams that are heading to the World Competition in Knoxville, Tenn.; therefore, they have many fundraisers planned in the upcoming weeks.
More details on the later events will be coming as the dates near.
On Friday, April 29, 2016, there will be a stew supper at the elementary school from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
A zombie-themed car wash will be held Saturday, April 30, at White’s Service station from 8:30 a.m.-12 noon.
The teams will host a breakfast on Saturday, April 30, and Saturday, May 14.
On Friday, May 6, there will be a spaghetti supper and silent auction, and on Saturday, May 14, there will be a yard sale from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Bangles are back
The newest Washburn Beaver Bangles have arrived.
These delightful bracelets make great holiday gifts, or simply get one to show your Beaver pride. They are $20 each and the proceeds go to support the Washburn Destination Imagination teams.
