On the morning of March 24, 2016, in Sioux Falls, SD, Cynthia Mary McDonald Sparks, passed through the veil into the arms of her family; parents, John and Lena Ruest McDonald; and sister, Amelia Clark. Cynthia was born in Presque Isle, on February 28, 1947. She was a member of the class of 1966 at Presque Isle High School. She was married to the late Alfred Sparks.
Throughout her life, she lived in Provo, UT, Rapid City SD, and Sioux Falls, SD.
During this time, she was a loving ‘Foster Mother’ to many children; one of whom she adopted, her son, Kegan Sparks.
She is survived by her daughter, Tina (Christopher) Baldwin of Townsend, MA. Tina blessed her with two wonderful grandsons, Jonathan and David Baldwin. She is also survived by a sister, Georgina Fleming; and a brother, Fred (Penny) McDonald; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and her lifetime friends, Pearl Fitzgerald, Susan Walton, and Lene Bartlett.
We’re not sisters by birth, but from the start, God put us together to be sisters by heart.
