Mapleton groups offer meals

The Mapleton United Methodist Church will host their monthly luncheon this Friday, May 6, 2016, at 11:30 a.m. Everyone is invited.
Lions’ Dinner and Auction
The Mapleton Lions Club 54th annual dinner and auction will be held this Saturday, May 7, at the Lions Hall. The dinner will be served at 4:30 p.m. and will include ham, small and large baked beans, potato salad and a variety of desserts. Hot dogs will be available for children.
The auction will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Mother/Daughter Tea
The Haystack Historical Society will host a mother and daughter tea on Saturday, May 14, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the museum.
Come and enjoy snacks, refreshments and a demonstration. The cost is $5 per adult and free for children. Please call Alice Shepard at 769-6431 for reservations.
