WASHBURN – Donald C. Foote, 80, passed away May 13, 2016 at Presque Isle. He was born in Lowell, MA, November 21, 1935 the son of the late Allan and Louise (Peters) Foote. Mr. Foote served in the US Air Force at Loring Air Force Base. He married Donna Stairs. Donald managed the Esso gas station in Washburn for many years. 
Surviving in addition to his wife, Donna, of Presque Isle are his son and daughter-in-law, Harry and Brenda Foote of Arizona, his daughter and son-in-law, Martina and John Dow, Sr., of Washburn, three brothers, Ronnie, Allan, and Allan Paul, two sisters, Diane Camarda, and Beverly Morrissette all of MA, three grandchildren, John Dow Jr., Joel, and Erik Foote, six great grandchildren, Sierra Mancuso, Makayla, Tristan, and Bryce Dow, Henry and Nadia Foote, several nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held 1pm, Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at the Crouseville Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Blakney officiating. Arrangements by Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou. www.mocklerfuneralhome.com.
