The morning after Trump

To the editor:
As I sit here at 59 years old thinking back to being a toddler watching our old black and white TV and watching my mother beaming with pride of the swearing in of the first Catholic President, John F. Kennedy, to thinking of the morning after Trump possibly becoming President, terrifies me!

If Trump wins:
1. Turning back the clock on women’s rights.
2. Talking about building walls and telling Americans that Mexico will pay for it, and some believing him.
3. Banning groups of people from entering our country.
4. Saying that giving nuclear weapons to countries that don’t have them is a good idea.
5. Thinking of the scenario of Trump mocking bareback horse riding Putin because he throws a tantrum by something Putin criticized him for which results in a catastrophic nuclear event caused by these two volatile men terrifies the heck out of me.
In closing, I served our country for six and a half years defending our Constitution protecting the rights of the American people. Watching Donald Trump thinking he is above the law and doing whatever he thinks no matter what the cost such as torturing and killing family members of our enemies and thinking he can tell other world leaders what to do or else he will make them pay tariffs without Congress just terrifies me to no end. I can only hope the American people will wake up and really see the truth in Donald Trump and realize he is not right for our country nor is he qualified to be President of the United States.
