Partners plan movie
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — On Saturday, June 18, 2016 Aroostook Partners in the Arts (APA) will sponsor a showing of the original 1986 “Ghostbusters” release.
The show goes on at 10 a.m. at the Braden Theater in Presque Isle. The $10 fee includes a movie ticket, drink, bag of popcorn, candy and “slime hands.” There will be two door prizes awarded.
A “Ghostbuster”-themed photo booth will be available so participants may take their own photos. All are invited to come enjoy the original movie on the big screen before the release of the “Ghostbusters III” film.
Proceeds will benefit APA as they work cooperatively with local schools to develop, support and sponsor significant performing arts, visual and other arts experiences for schoolchildren and young people.
