Women uninjured in crash
EASTON, Maine — Two women escaped injury on Saturday after a two-car crash on the Station Road in Easton, according to Aroostook County Sheriff Darrell Crandall.
The sheriff said in a written statement that the accident took place shortly after noon when Deborah McLaughlin, 50, of Greenbush was attempting to make a left-hand turn into a local business.
Danielle Clark, 27, of Mapleton apparently did not see McLaughlin and struck the back of her vehicle.
Crandall said that all involved were wearing seat belts. There was no information on the make and model of the vehicles involved.
No one was injured and no one required medical treatment. The sheriff said that both vehicles, however, were significantly damaged.
Clark was summonsed for failure to have insurance, according to Crandall.
