Society plans tea

The Salmon Brook Historical Society invites everyone to attend the fourth annual Tea and Quilt Show Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016 to support its two museums, the Benjamin C. Wilder Farmstead and Aroostook Agricultural Museum.
There are three separate tea times planned at the museums at 1267 Main St.: 12:30 p.m., 1:45 p.m. and 3 p.m. Tickets are $10 each and must be purchased in advance. Please contact Wanita Hallowell at 540-1154 or Rita Kingsbury at 429-9359 for tickets.
All are invited to make plans with friends to attend the Tea and Quilt Show. Get tickets now as the show has been sold out in previous years.
Business meeting
The Salmon Brook Historical Society will hold a business meeting on Saturday, July 23, at the museum’s barn in Washburn at 6 p.m.
Those attending are asked to bring a dessert to share. All are welcome.
