    RICHARDSON, Elwyn V. “Chum”, 94, Castle Hill, at Caribou, July 25, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at the Funeral Home. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home.

    CASTLE HILL – Elwyn V. “Chum” Richardson, 94, passed away July 25, 2016, at Cary Medical Center in Caribou. American Flag Color He was born in Wade on September 13, 1921, the son of Allen and Celia (Day) Richardson.
    He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Elwyn worked in the woods and was a wingman on the snowplow for the town of Castle Hill. He loved to fish, hunt and trap.
    He is survived by two sons and their wives, Weldon and Donna of Castle Hill, and Ralph and Betty of Vero Beach, FL; three daughters, Alice Curtis and her husband, Jeff of Castle Hill, Tina Simard of Mapleton, and Betty Bragg and her husband, Larry of Castle Hill; a brother, Isaac Richardson of St. Joe, MO; three sisters, Ethel Doody and her husband, Albert of Washburn, Lela Kelley of South Berwick, and Mary Baker and her husband, Neil of Washburn; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends, The Easler Family, and Jim and Judy Barresi.
    He was predeceased by his wife, Ida (McEachern) Richardson; two sons, Albion and Carlton; a daughter, Bessie Richardson; an infant daughter; four brothers, Walter, Christopher, Cleave and Albion; three sisters, Pauline Beaulieu, Edith Richardson, and Glenda Carmichael; a granddaughter Elizabeth Richardson, and two grandsons, Mark and Ralph Richardson Jr.
    Friends called 6-8, Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church Street, Presque Isle, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, with Pastor Lucy Lovley officiating.
