Long dedicated to his constituents
To the editor:
It is important to me to have dedicated, hardworking community servants at the State House in Augusta who take into consideration the wishes of their voters.
During my years of service in Augusta, it was important for me to stand up for what I believe in and for the needs of my constituents rather than doing what special interest groups and party leadership thought I should do. I want more people in Augusta to do the same, and that’s why I’m voting to elect Ricky Long as our next State Senator.
Apart from the six years he has served in the Legislature, Ricky served his local communities for 20 years, and he knows the issues that are important to northern Maine. Ricky has not only voted against issues such as increased taxes and over-regulation of our most important industries but also supported issues such as Second Amendment rights and landowner rights.
I admire Ricky Long for the time he dedicates to helping the needs he hears from his community, and we need more people like him in Augusta. I encourage you to join me in November’s elections to send Ricky Long back to Augusta to serve in the Senate.
