WESTFIELD, Maine — A family reunion was held July 29, 2016 at the Dude Ranch II in Westfield at the home of Stephen S. Brown Jr. and his late lamented wife, Tena. The last Brown family reunion was held in 1988.
In addition to Steve Brown, the following family members attended: Daughter, Claudia (Wilcox) Daniels and her husband, Danny, of Palisade, Colo.; her children, Paul Wilcox and wife Emily of Erie, Penn., and their children, Jack, Leah and Samantha Anne; Andrew Wilcox and Michelle of Waterville; a son, William S. Brown of Mesa, Ariz.; a daughter, Anne Chapman of Presque Isle; her daughter, Emily Smith of LaMoine and Emily’s daughter, Elizabeth Anne; and friends, Bruce and Paula Dyer of Bridgewater and Lewis Jones of E Plt.; and a hound dog named Lydia.
Absent were Naomi (Wilcox) Poulin and husband, Ross, of Wheatridge, Colo., and new baby Alden Ross.
Food was served from the charcoal broiler, and entertainment was provided by four-wheeler rides, mountain biking, hiking and croquet, all of which drew the children away from their cellphones.
