LONG, Terrence R., 59, Presque Isle, at Bangor, August 31, 2016. There will be no services of any kind and interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle.
PRESQUE ISLE – Terrence R. Long, 59, died August 31, 2016, at a Bangor Hospital after several years of declining health. He was born January 31, 1957, in Presque Isle, to Robert B. Long and Carolyn (Henderson) Long Hallet.
Terry graduated from Presque Isle High School and a few years later, enrolled in a cullinary course at EMTC in Bangor, graduating at the top of his class. He then became a professional chef working in Bar Harbor summers and Florida in the winters. Eventually, arthritis worsened and he became disabled.
He is survived by his father; a brother, Christopher Long; a half-brother, Bruce Hallet, all of Presque Isle; three cousins, Bruce Livingston, Alan Livingston of Hallowell and So. Portlantd, and Rebecca Torti of MA. He will be remembered by three life-long friends, Jeff Perkins, Gary Guerrette and Scott Patton. He was predeceased by his mother and step-father, Cecil Hallet.
There will be no services of any kind and interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle.
