PRESQUE ISLE – Thomas F. Thibodeau, Jr., earned his angel wings on September 7, 2016, at home, after a short, but courageous, battle with cancer, at the age of 57. He was born in Fort Belvoir, VA, on July 17, 1959, son of Teresa (Donovan/Thibodeau) Moreau and Thomas F. Thibodeau, Sr.
Tom was a 1977 graduate of Presque Isle High School. He went on to work for the State of Maine for 28 years, retiring in 2011. During his retirement, he loved his time with family and four grandsons. The boys kept him busy with birthday parties, Cub Scout activities, Cystic Fibrosis walks and coin collecting. Tom was a kind soul and will be missed by many friends and family.
Tom is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lori (McCrossin) Thibodeau; two daughters; Jill Willette and husband, Jeff of Presque Isle, and Kelly Lamoreau and husband, Jay of Castle Hill; and beloved grandsons, Noah and Jase Willette, and Jack and Tucker Lamoreau. He is also survived by his mother, Teresa and her husband, Arthur Moreau of Presque Isle; and his sister, Tracie and family. He was predeceased by his father.
Calling hours were held Saturday, September 10, 2016, from 6-8 p.m., at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home in Presque Isle. Burial was private.
