GREENIER, Beverly June, 74, Mapleton, at Caribou, October 19, 2016. Services will be held at the Grant Memorial United Methodist Church, Presque Isle, November 4, at 1 p.m. Donations may be made in her memory to the GMUMC.
MAPLETON – Beverly June Greenier, 74, died after a long struggle with cancer on Tuesday, October 19, 2016, at Caribou Nursing Home. She was born on October 20, 1941, in Caribou to Linwood and Elva (Haine) Lyons.
In August 1961, she married Peter Greenier.
She attended Caribou and Presque Isle schools and she graduated in the class of 1960 at Presque Isle High School.
She worked over the years at Zayre, Hedrich Vending and owned and ran Bev’s Day Care where for many years dealing with a lot of wonderful children. She was a 50 plus member of the Grant Memorial Untied Methodist Chruch which she was very active in. She was a long standing member of the choir.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Peter of Mapleton; two children and their spouses: her son, John and his fiancée, Lynn Hansen, and her daughter, Lisa and her husband, Jeff Brown, all of Presque Isle; two grandsons, Allen and his wife Ana Rae Brown of Mapleton, and Tyler Brown of Washburn; two great-grandchildren, Alana Rae and Alex Brown, they live in Mapleton with their parents. Beverly is also survived by three brothers and their spouses: Claud and Carol of Blaine, Kenneth and Brenda of Florida, and Galen of Presque Isle; a lot of nieces, nephews and good friends.
She was predeceased by her parents; one brother, Lendall along with his wife, Sue; both father- and mother-in-law, Forest and Laura Greenier.
