PRINTING UNDER ONE ROOF
A new sign was installed late last month near the entrance to Northeast Publishing Company in Presque Isle by Mark Benson and Scott Cheney (on ladder), employees of Mapleton-based Condon Sign LLC.

As the banner suggests, several newspapers including the Presque Isle Star-Herald, Piscataquis Observer of Dover-Foxcroft, the Aroostook Republican of Caribou, the Houlton Pioneer Times, the St. John Valley Times of Madawaska and the northern edition of the Bangor Daily News are printed at the Skyway Industrial Park facility. In addition to corporate offices and support services, the building also serves as headquarters for Print Works, a commercial print shop, and the city’s weekly newspaper.
