LAFRANCE, Cheryl M., 52, Caribou, November 13, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., November 17, at the Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the care of the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home.
CARIBOU – Cheryl M. LaFrance, 52, passed away on November 13, 2016, after a year long courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family at home in Caribou. She was born on September 2, 1964, in New Britain, CT, the daughter of Ronald and Barbara (DiNardo) Dahlgren.
She graduated from Southington High School in Connecticut in 1982. She moved to Maine in 1994 and worked at Northeastland Hotel as the banquet coordinator for a period. She also worked for Caribou Chamber of Commerce as membership coordinator and for the past 13 years, she worked at Channel X Radio and was most famous for her morning radio show.
Cheryl’s fondest memories were spending time with the “light of her life” her grandson, Gage, and any moment she could, she enjoyed being at the beach and in the sun.
Cheryl is survived by her mother, Barbara Dahlgren; her daughter, Brittney White and her husband, Loren; her grandson, Gage White, and her sister, Ann Cote.
She was predeceased by her father, Ronald.
Friends may call 11 a.m., November 17, 2016, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, where a memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., with Rev. George McLaughlin officiating. A reception will be held at the Northeastland Hotel following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Sarah’s House, 346 Main Rd., Holden, ME 04429.
