The Maine Soccer Coaches’ regional all-star teams have been named, with several players from the local area making it on either the Class B or Class D Northern Maine squad.
Seniors named to the team were invited to play in the MSC Senior Bowl, which was held Nov. 13 at Husson University in Bangor.
Making the Class B girls’ team were Tori Koch and Madison Michaud, both of Presque Isle. Other selections were Maddie Doucette and Searra Herbert, both of Caribou; Kayla Hubbard of Erskine Academy; Alex Allain, Emily Higgins and Brianna Saulter, all of Hermon; Gina Cambria and Soleil Skehan, both of John Bapst; Emma Alley and Lindsey Dodge, both of Lee Academy/Stearns; Paige Mason of MDI, Austin Taylor of Nokomis, Jillian Brooks of Oceanside; and Jordan Jabar and Sophie Webb, both of Waterville.
Girls from the region selected to the Class D team include Mackenzie Carter, Megan Cote, Morgan Doughty and Cassidy Pelletier, all of Ashland; and Jadeyn Giberson and Kate Levesque, both of Central Aroostook. They are joined by Taylor Desrosiers of Hodgdon, Georgia Landry of Katahdin, Jenna Dugal, Desiree Belanger and Hannah Nadeau, all of Madawaska; and Ryley Buck, Lauren Reed and Tori Watts, all of Penobscot Valley.
Presque Isle’s Nick Bartlett made the Class B squad along with Alex Ezzy and Andre Rossignol, both of Caribou; Logan Butera and Levi Stedman, both of Foxcroft Academy; Matthew Leach and James Peterson, both of Hermon; Paul Branch, Alex Mooney and Alvaro Valls, all of John Bapst; Joe Grubb and Niko Knapp, both of Old Town; and Spencer Miranda, Jake Warn and Mike Wildes, all of Winslow.
Local Class D players on the boys’ team are Kyle Beaulier of Ashland, Jacob Flewelling of Easton and Jonah Daigle, Chris Giberson, Colin Goshorn and Ryan Player, all of Fort Fairfield. Other selections were Luke Chandler, Jon Cormier, Dean Grass, Josh Palmeter and Tyler Welch, all of Bangor Christian; Daden Palmer of Hodgdon, Jonathan Littlefield and Brad McKechnie, both of Penobscot Valley; Justin Thompson of Schenck, Brandon Sytulek of Van Buren and Drew Hayward of Woodland.
The 43rd Maine Soccer Coaches All-Star Banquet will be held Dec. 4 at 1 p.m. in Bangor, with All-State teams being named along with Coach of the Year and All-New England honorees.
