To the editor:
This year, for the Christmas Light Parade in Presque Isle on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016 at 6 p.m. we will be doing a different sort of float.
I have this overwhelming feeling of doing a Super Zach-themed float to try and raise some money for Make a Wish Maine so a child battling a life threatening illness can have a wish granted.
Zack was able to have a wish granted earlier this year before he passed away.
We will have “Super Heroes” marching in the parade with us collecting money to donate to Make a Wish Maine in Zach’s memory. Please share on Facebook and spread the word.
We have set a goal of $1,000 and Peggy Gagnon and the Make a Wish folks seem to be excited about the idea. Anything at all that you can spare will be very much appreciated. If you miss us at the parade come find us afterwards. Thank you for your support!
