Washburn Boy Scout Troop 177 will sell Christmas trees again this year from Sun Rise Tree Farms.

These are premium trees and are 6-7 feet and 7-8 feet tall. Trees are $28. They are located at Washburn Trailside or can be delivered on weekends. There is also a large amount of tree stands available for sale.
Proceeds will benefit the troop’s trip to West Virginia this summer for two weeks.

Washburn Royalty

Little Miss Washburn Hailey Campbell, Pre-Teen Miss Washburn Alissa Shackett, Junior Miss Washburn Amanda White, Teen Miss Washburn Reagan Whipkey, Miss Washburn Jessica Aube, Miss Vacationland Junior Teen Hannah White, and Junior Miss Maine Potato Queen Madison Miller participated in Presque Isle’s Holiday Light Parade on Saturday evening, Dec. 3.
These ladies have done an outstanding job representing Washburn during their reign.

Box Tops for Education

The Washburn District Elementary School continually collects Box Tops for Education. The process is simple: Just send in clipped box tops, found on hundreds of products, to the school.
Money earned goes towards resources like books, headphones and other supplies for students. The school appreciates any Box Tops sent.
