The community library will resume its regular schedule this week. All after-school activities that it hosts will now be held at Easton Elementary School.

On Saturdays the community library will be held at Easton High School and will feature a story time from 10-10:30 a.m. This is geared for toddlers/pre-K up to grade 3. Children under 5 need to be accompanied by an adult. The story time will include a picture book with an activity/color page to follow. More program activities may also be offered for other age groups. Look for community story time notices and sign-up forms. Please return completed notices to main office or register in the office.
The library will be open to the community for patrons to utilize library services, book loans, use of periodicals and reference materials and Internet and computer access. Patrons may bring their own devices to access the Internet and will be asked to follow existing library rules/guidelines.

Happy Days Club update

The next meeting will be a potluck lunch at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12 in the recreation room at the Manor. They will be nominating/electing officers for 2017. Please plan to join them and bring a friend.

Sesquicentennial memorabilia

As a year of celebrating Easton’s year-long 150th birthday has concluded, there are still a few items available, including books on the history of Easton, titled “A Community Carved from the Wilderness 1865-2015” for only $5.
Glass coffee mugs with bear and sesquicentennial logos and royal blue T-shirts with sesquicentennial logo are among the items remaining.
Items can be picked up at Easton Town Office or call 488-6652 to check availability. To see samples, please visit eastonme.com or stop by the town office.
