PRESQUE ISLE — New Ventures Maine will offer a money management class beginning Thursday, Jan. 12, meeting on Thursdays through Feb. 2 from 5:30-8 p.m. at the University of Maine at Presque Isle.

Suzanne Senechal-Jandreau of Presque Isle’s New Ventures Maine office will instruct the class, and said via email Jan. 5 that she has removed the registration deadline to allow more people to sign up.
My Money Works: Tools for Smart Money Choices is a free four-week class to help participants gain the skills and confidence to stretch their money, pay bills, reduce debt, save, plan for retirement and set personal financial goals.
“At the end of the class, you will have a plan in place to achieve greater financial stability,” said Senechal-Jandreau.
The class is open to women, men and couples of all ages and incomes. For more information or to register, contact Senechal-Jandreau at 768-9635 or senechal@maine.edu. Some assistance with transportation and child care costs is also available.
