MAHONEY, Earl G., 66, Mapleton, January 7, 2017. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at the Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home.
MAPLETON – Earl G. Mahoney, 66, originally from New Britain, CT, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday evening, January 7, 2017. Earl was born the son of Francis Mahoney and Elsie Rothwell Mahoney of Bristol, CT.
In 2012, Earl graduated from the University of Maine at Presque Isle with his associate degree in social work. He enjoyed fishing, camping, golf, and travel. He especially loved his two cats, Sofi and Laci.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sharon (Perkins) Mahoney of Mapleton; a sister, Peggy Giarnese and her husband, Frank of Burlington, CT; three stepchildren, Randy Holton and his wife, Cheryl of Presque Isle, Kelly Laflamme and her husband, Charles of Salisbury, NH, and Tracey Holton Skwiot and her husband, Dave of East Hampton, CT; six step-grandchildren, Cory Holton of Concord, NH, Keith and Reggie Loosemore of Middletown, CT, Britney Pelletier of Longs, SC, Darin Pelletier of Brooksville, FL, Stephanie Graves and her husband, and Ryan of Presque Isle; four step-great-grandchildren, Adalyn and Aviana of Presque Isle, MacKenzie Loosemore of Middletown, CT, and Cadence Holton of Concord, NH; a niece, Kristen of Burlington, CT; and a nephew, Jeffrey Giarnese of MA.
