GALLAGHER, Anne Marie, 84, Presque Isle, at Pensacola, FL, January 3, 2017. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood, in the summer of 2017. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home.
PRESQUE ISLE – Anne Marie Gallagher, 84, passed away Tuesday evening January 3, 2017, at her residence in Pensacola, FL, where she lived with her daughter. She was born July 12, 1932, in Grand Isle, the daughter of Alfred and Alice (Dionne) Lausier.
On May 28, 1955, she married Jeramiah Patrick Gallagher. While raising their family of six, she worked variously as a cook in the Presque Isle High School cafeteria, a clerk at City Drug, and a sales clerk at Mary Louise Fashions before she and her husband owned and operated Anne’s Fashions in Presque Isle. She was a faithful communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by three sons: Daniel of Massachusetts, Kevin of Mechanic Falls, and Sean and his wife, Stephanie of Maryland; three daughters: Patricia Partridge and her husband, Michael of Wisconsin, Kathleen Smith and her husband, Joseph of Fort Kent, and Maureen Gallagher of Florida; two brothers: John Lausier and his wife, Lorraine of Bangor, and Peter Lausier and his wife, Sally of Alabama; a sister: Florence Roy of Alabama; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, J. Patrick Gallagher in March 2011; and five of her siblings.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood, in the summer of 2017. Interment will be at North Main Street Catholic Cemetery, Presque Isle. Online condolences may be shared at www.duncan-graves.com.
