The work of Presque Isle farmer, woodsman and musician Larry Park is on exhibit at Wintergreen Arts Center.
Wintergreen’s Jan. 6 First Friday event opened the display of Park’s photographs and woodworking art, with an old country music performance by Park on banjo and guitar and fiddler Garold Hanscom of New Brunswick playing songs such as “Ashokan Farewell” and “Edelweiss”. The photos on display include those Park took of Presque Isle as he was growing up in the 1940s, while the forest artworks include tree burls, trunks and practical carvings from ash and maple.
