A memorial service will be held to celebrate the life of Patricia Corey who passed on to her forever home on January 7, 2017. BLAINE, Maine – Patricia Corey went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 7, 2017, at the Mars Hill Nursing Home surrounded by her family. She was born in Bridgewater on July 16, 1929, the daughter of Maurice and Lillian Perfitt. She graduated from ACI in 1947 and married Warren on November 30 of the same year. They raised five daughters in their home town of Blaine.
She is survived by her daughters: Sylvia and Alvin Pineau of Blaine, Susan Gilman of Henniker, NH, Shirley and Mitch Snider of Salsbury, NC, Sally Codrey of Mars Hill, and Sheila and Rob Bragdon of Westfield; her grandchildren: Dawn Kennedy, Kevin Gilman, Kori Thomas, Troy Giberson, Paige David, Chad Giberson, Jonathan, Jordan, and Daniel Codrey and Malissa Bragdon; also, many great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson; a sister, Audrey Dyer; brothers, Robert Perfitt, and Donald Perfitt and wife, Phyllis; and sister-in-law, Daphine (Corey) and husband, Fred Clark. Pat loved her family and friends and leaves behind many nieces, nephews and two life-long friends, Gertie Boyd and Russell Hathaway.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Jaska McKenzie and Helen Griffin; and her grandson, Jeremie Bragdon.
Pat was a faithful follower of Christ and a member of the Free Baptist Church of Blaine and later attended the East Ridge Union Church of Mars Hill.
Special thanks to all the residents and staff at the Mars Hill Nursing Home where she spent most of the past 16 years. You truly were her second family and so appreciated by her first family.
