AZZARELLO, Patricia Pearl Wood, 83, Presque Isle, January 14, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 24, at the Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home.
PRESQUE ISLE – Patricia Pearl Wood Azzarello, 83, died January 14, 2017, at a Presque Isle health care facility. She was born May 3, 1933, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Philip G. and Ruby (Wilcox) Wood.
She attended the Presque Isle school system. She worked for Taterstate Potato Processing Plant for nine years, and then worked the fountain at Woolworth’s for three years, and four years at Ames Department Store. She was assistant manager at the Big L Drug Store in Millinocket during her husband’s employment at Great Northern Paper, returning to Presque Isle as a stay at home housewife while Leonard drove over the road tractor trailer.
Pat will be sadly missed by her family and close friends.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard S. Azzarello of Presque Isle; a daughter, Deborah A. Drost and her husband, John of Washburn; a son, Stephen P. Doody and his wife, Beverly of Levant; a brother, Dwinal P. Wood of Augusta; a sister, Judy A. Kennard and husband, Ted of Chatsworth, GA; four grandsons, John Drost and his wife, Kristie of Washburn, Stephen Drost and his wife, Kailyn of Puyallup, Wa., Robin Drost and his wife, Holly of Washburn, Ryan Doody and his wife, Michelle of Williamsburg, VA; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at noon Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., with Rev. Bruce Blakney officiating.
