Salvation Army takes applications

    The Salvation Army will be taking applications for Christmas assistance though Dec. 19 Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 12 Court Street, Houlton.
    All applicants are required to bring Social Security cards for each member of the household and proof of income and expenses for the last 30 days. This information will allow us to make an assessment of all needs.
