The Northern Maine Soap Box Derby Committee is now accepting registrations for their 12th annual derby race, which will be held Saturday, June 21 at Derby Hill in Houlton.
Youth must be eight years of age by June 21 through age 17 years to participate. Deadline for registrations is May 1.
To register or for more information contact Derby Director Dan Emerson at 532-6591 or e-mail request at rec.programs@houlton-maine.com or drop by the Houlton Recreation Department to pick up a registration packet.
If you are interested in sponsoring a racer or have any derby questions, call Emerson, as soon as possible.
