DuBois, Leonard, 71, March 22, 2008.  Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Houlton.  Interment to be held in the spring in St. Agnes Cemetery, Island Falls.
    ISLAND FALLS – Leonard DuBois, 71, died March 22, 2008, at his home. He was born Jan. 3, 1937, in Island Falls, the son of Adolp and Vina (Saucier) DuBois. Leonard was an avid outdoorsman; enjoying hunting, fishing, gardening, camping, yard saling, and being with family and friends.
    He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Rowena (Curtis) DuBois of Island Falls; two daughters, Annette and Tony Tripp of Frankfort and Rachel and Kenneth Stairs of Hampden; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one brother, George DuBois of Island Falls; one sister, Diane and Aubrey Hines of San Antonio; several nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters-in-laws and friends. He will be sadly missed by his dog, Buster. He was predeceased by his parents.
    The family would like to thank Hospice, Diane Lane, Jackie Desmond and George, Dave and Debbie DuBois and Dr. Karin Giordano of CancerCare of Maine.
    Friends called 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls. A Mass of Christian burial was held 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Island Falls, with Father Eddy Morin, celebrant. Spring interment will be at St. Agnes Cemetery, Island Falls.
