Truck pull winners listed

    The Northern Penobscot Pullers Association (NPPA) sponsored a truck pull in Machias on Sunday, June 22.

INTIMIDATING – The Intimidator, owned and operated by Barry Dow of Houlton, pulled at the Machias event (results on Page 10) and will be among those competing during Houlton’s State Agricultural Fair. The Northern Penobscot Pulling Association (NPPA) will hold the Westerdahl Memorial Pull at 5p.m. on July 3 at Houlton’s Community Park.     Winners and divisions are as follows:
    Half ton street stock: first, Kevin Stevens of Levant and second, Malcolm McGraw of Levant.
    Two-wheel drive Super Stock 5,800 pounds: first, Pete Mercier of Princeton and second, Barry Dow of Houlton.
    All-wheel drive Super Stock 5,800 pounds: first, Jere Humphrey of Washburn and second, Hampy Carter of Winslow.
    Three-quarter ton Street Stock: first, Adam Powers of Milford and second,  Kevin Stevens of Levant.
       Two-wheel drive Modified 6,200 pounds: first, John Woods of Oakfield and second, Dow of Houlton.
    Street Stock Diesel: first, McGraw of Levant and second, Steve Parks.
     Two-wheel drive Super stock 6,200 pounds: first, Mercier of Princeton and second, Dow of Houlton.
     Four-wheel drive Super Stock 6,200 pounds: first, Humphrey of Washburn and second, Preston Cole of Thorndike.
    Pro Stock Diesel: first, Carl Watson of Smyrna and second, Chuck Hammond.
    Two-wheel drive Modified: first, Woods of Oakfield and second, Dow of Houlton.
