YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING? — 2 drivers + 2 yellow school buses = 4 fun. That’s what the challenge is all about when well-known driver Andy Marino will try to school newcomer Barrett Peabody on the fine art of demolition derby … only not in cars, but school buses.
Marino had originally thrown down the gauntlet to his old pal Albert Fitzpatrick, but Fitzpatrick decided to impart his wisdom, experience and “secret tips” onto his son-in-law to carry on the next generation of high jinks. The school bus challenge will be held at 6 p.m. on July 5. This is a not-to-be-missed event, no one ever knows what goings-on may happen when Marino and Fitzpatrick get together. So, come out and support a driver and cheer them on during the new event at the Houlton State Agricultural Fair. In the photograph, Fitzpatrick, far left, encourages Peabody to clash with his old friend, as Marino, right, just laughs in jest at the young whippersnapper’s confidence.
HOULTON — Two contestants … two big school buses … too much fun!
Join the Houlton Fair on Saturday, July 5 at 6 p.m. to watch Andy Marino and Barrett Peabody go head to head in a school bus demolition challenge.
