Scouts help the animals

Everyone has a haven, a place where you can go, think and feel good about yourself in life. That’s what this refuge is for the members of Girl Scout Troop 410. When these girls go to the Animal Refuge, they feel like they are doing something good for the world. They feel good about themselves for helping those who need help.
ImageDONATING — Members of Girl Scout Troop 410 collected money to make a donation to Arthur and Dot Howell for the animals at the A.E. Howell Animal Refuge. The refuge relies heavily on contributions. Many of the troop members also volunteer at the center.  Shown from left are, Courtney Jurson, Autumn Fox, Dot and Arthur Howell, and Erin Keehn.
They clean the animal cages, clear paths, clean out the weeds, paint things that need painting. They help Arthur and Dot feed the animals and they do whatever needs to be done. They are making a difference at the A.E. Howell Animal Refuge.
When the Howell’s hold an open house for the Animal Refuge, the girls and others, give tours.
Mark your calendar and visit the center during the following Saturdays, June 20, July 11, August 22 and September 12.
Please come and support Troop 410 and A.E. Howell.
