CLA honors employees with luncheon

    HOULTON — The Community Living Association hosted its annual Employee Recognition Luncheon on Friday.

DEDICATED EMPLOYEES — The Community Living Association hosted its annual Employee Recognition Luncheon Friday to honor workers for their many years of dedicated service. Nearly 50 employees were honored during the luncheon.

    Ron Langworthy expressed to all of the honorees how appreciative the organization is for all of their years of service and what a difference they make in the lives of the individuals we serve.
    “It would not happen without our terrific staff,” he said.
    Those being honored for their dedication were: Pat Lewis, 34 years; Charlene Chase and Lorrie Stevens, 32 years; Kathleen Parks, Susie Faulkner and Cindy Williams, 30 years; Freida Bither, 29 years; Laurie Saunders, 28 years; Wendy Scott, 27 years; Sandra Malone, 26 years; Teresa Goguen, Wendy Tapley and Judy Doody, 25 years.
    Other employees reached mile markers in their years of service. Those with 20 years of service were: Melissa Crandall, Rose Levesque, Jeanne Cameron, Michele King, Lorrie Scott and Jodi Castle.  Those completing their 15th year were: Lori Brown, Rob Hannigan, Patricia Lord, Sharon Grant, Leanne Chamberlain, Susan Begin, Shelia Murchie, Spring White, Lynette Dobbs and Michele Buza. Reaching their 10-year marker were: Melanie Lainey, Colleen Farrar, Billie-Jo Botting, Barbara Austin, Otis Oliver and Tammy Stone. The five-year honorees were: Mariann Polchies, Harold Briggs, Heather Cameron, Kylie Donahue, Lori Hughes, Jen Anderson, Ann Stevens, Valerie Fitzpatrick, Danielle Nadeau, Keith Murchie, Amanda Richardson, Crystal Keaton, Donna Jewell and Kristen Hagan. In addition to the mile marker honorees, 29 employees were recognized for 16 to 20 years of dedication.  
    “The presentation of gifts and luncheon catered by The Courtyard Café was just a small token of our appreciation for all that these employees do to make the organization and the services it provides thrive,” Langworthy said.
