McEachern, Ronald G., Jr., 39, November 30, 2009.  Arrangements by Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, Fort Fairfield.  Interment to be held in the Green Ridge Cemetery, Caribou.

 

    Fort Fairfield and Houlton – Ronald G. “Mumford” McEachern, Jr., 39, husband of Shelly Lee (Brooker) McEachern, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, November 13, 2009, in Fort Fairfield, as the result of an automobile accident. He was born September 17, 1970, in Houlton, the son of Ronald G. McEachern, Sr. and Charlene (Russell) McEachern.
    He was educated in the Houlton and Fort Fairfield School Systems and had been employed in several industries, most recently for Thibeau Farms, Fort Fairfield. Ronald was married to Shelly Lee Brooker on July 3, 2004, and was an accomplished artist. He loved to create tattoos and enjoyed music, fishing, and biking. Ronald will be remembered for his honesty and gentle nature. He was a friend to all.
    Ronald was predeceased by his father, Ronald G. McEachern Sr.; maternal grandfather, Charles Russell; paternal grandfather, Arthur G. McEachern; paternal step-grandfather, Wilfred Beaulier. He is survived by his wife of five years, Shelly Lee McEachern of Fort Fairfield; two daughters, Jerica of Ashland and Taneisha of Fort Fairfield; his mother, Charlene (Russell) Mailman of Hodgdon; three sisters, Madonna Moore and her husband Jeff of Houlton, Reba Rae Cleighorn of St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Paula Hoffman and her husband Dwayne of Turner; paternal grandmother, Pauline Beaulier of Mapleton; maternal grandmother, Nina Russell of New Limerick; step-mother, Jackie McEachern; and step-brother Carl Robbins, both of Presque Isle; father and mother-in-law, Sheldon and Jean Brooker of Fort Fairfield; brother-in-law, Adam Brooker of Caribou; several nieces and nephews.
    In keeping with the family’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service of committal will be conducted Thursday, November 19, 2009, at 3 p.m. at the Green Ridge Cemetery, Caribou, with the Rev. Mark Babin officiating. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Ronald to his family, 23 Borderview St., Apt. #10, Fort Fairfield 04742. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield.
