HOULTON — VSA Arts of Maine is presenting A Matter of Perception 2010, an exhibition showcasing the work and creativity of Maine artists with disabilities. The exhibit will be on display July 17 through Aug. 27 at the Courtyard Café.
The exhibit is presented in conjunction with the Southern Aroostook Cultural Arts Project. There will be an opening reception on July 17 at the Courtyard Café at 6:30 p.m. A Matter of Perception 2010 (MOP) demonstrates that physical, cognitive or other disabilities do not limit talent or creativity.
Through MOP, VSA Arts of Maine provides exhibition opportunities throughout Maine for artists with disabilities — promoting the work of these artists and enhancing public awareness of disability issues.
