My Uncle Chet Bailey

To the editor:
    My Uncle Chet is the greatest and my hero, so I asked him some things he did or had as a child.
    When my Uncle Chet was little, he had a dog named Rags. He loved that dog so much. After school his friends and he would go in the woods and hang out for a while or go and listen to a piano.
    His favorite things growing up were playing outside, playing baseball and horseshoes, plus they listened to the radio.
    They had chores too, and the chores he did were shovel snow in the winter, carry wood and take good care of the horses.
    While growing up he decided to go in the U.S. Military Coast Guard, he was the radar man. His mother was so proud of him.
    That’s the story of my Uncle Chet and why he is the greatest uncle in the world and he is my hero!
