Little, Junior Miss PI contestants to compete

    PRESQUE ISLE – Contestants competing for the titles of 2008 Little Miss and Junior Miss Presque Isle will take to the stage on Saturday, April 12, at 7 p.m. at the Presque Isle High School Auditorium.

    Twelve young ladies from grades 1 and 2 at Pine Street Elementary School will seek to impress the judges in hopes of winning the crown as Little Miss Presque Isle.
    Sadie Faye, the daughter of P.J. and Kelley Kinney, will be singing for her talent.
    Emily Poitras will give a Power Point presentation and monologue. She is the daughter of Brian and Kathy Poitras.
    Miranda Bragan, daughter of Tricia and Spencer Bragan, will also be performing a monologue.
    Mayce Kinney will entertain with a song and dance routine. She is the daughter of Kim and Jirad Kinney.
    Casey Estabrook, the daughter of Clif and Heidi Estabrook, will perform a dance number for her talent.
    Yessenia Vilar will be clogging for the judges. She is the daughter of Jasmine Cote.
    Madison Bearden, the daughter of Kathy Bearden and Jeff Bearden, will entertain with a dance number.
    Libbee Currie will provide a vocal selection for her talent. She is the daughter of Sheila and G. Noel Currie III.
    Kimberly Cook will seek to impress the judges with a clogging routine. She is the daughter of Kevin and Susan Cook.
    Kasey Haley is the daughter of Troy and Kelly Gumprecht and Fred and Jessica Haley. She will perform a lip sync/dance number.
    Sherralyn Robbins will be singing. She is the daughter of Scott ad Casey Johnson and Mark and Veronica Robbins.
    Kiara Lyford, the daughter of Hal and Gail Lyford, will entertain with a jazz dance routine.
    Also competing on Saturday are six young women vying for the title of Junior Miss Presque Isle.
    Christina Hallowell will play the piano for her talent presentation. She is the daughter of Peter and Athena Hallowell.
    Paige Haley, the daughter of Tony and Kelly Gumprecht and Fred and Jessica Haley, will entertain with a monologue.
    Brittany Page will take the stage to perform a dance routine. She is the daughter of Caroline and Donald Page.
    Hanna Patterson, the daughter of Ariana Patterson and Derrick Kinney, will dance for her talent.
    Erica Hemphill, the daughter of Eric and Kelly Hemphill, will clog for the judges.
    Barbara Bonville will take the stage for a dance number. She is the daughter of Candy Bonville.
    Also making their last appearance as queens will be 2007 Little Miss Presque Isle Maddison Cleaves and 2008 Junior Miss Presque Isle Kate Campbell.
    Tickets may be purchased at the door or from one of the contestants. Proceeds go to the United Way of Aroostook.
