    OAKFIELD – Earl "Buddy" M. Cameron Jr., 70, passed away August 15, 2010 after a short illness. He was born April 3, 1940 in Island Falls, the second child of Earl M. Sr. and Gladys (White) Cameron.
    Earl was a native of Aroostook County but lived in New Hampshire the greater part of his life. He was a member of the National Guard out of Houlton. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was never happier than in a camp telling stories of his experiences. He was a truck driver and had many stories to tell of his adventures.
    Earl is survived by two sons, Earl M. III and his wife, Jen of Houlton, Briand and his wife, Laura of Hudson, NH; two grandchildren, Sean and Adam, both of NH; two sisters, Jeanette Sherman of Island Falls, and Linda Wing of Patten; one brother, Gary E. Cameron of E. Hampton, CT.
    He was predeceased by his parents; and his wife, Noreen Lee Cameron.
    A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls.
