Carolyn J. Clark Carmichael

    Carmichael, Carolyn J., 73, October 19, 2010.
    HOULTON – Carolyn J. Clark Carmichael, 73, of Houlton, formerly of Presque Isle, left this world to be with her Lord on Oct. 19, 2010. She was born on Dec. 8, 1936, the daughter of Horace C. Clark and Mae J. McCarty.
    She was predeceased by her husband, Marvin Carmichael; two sons, Marvin Jr. and Arthur Lee; one stepson, Dennis Carmichael; and one sister, Frances Clark.
    She is survived by one sister, Brenda Clark Paget (Steve) of Richmond Corner, NB; one step-daughter, Carolyn Crandall of Houlton;  two step-sons, Mark (Sherri) and Barry Carmichael of Presque Isle; daughter-in-law Carla Carmichael of Lewiston; aunts, uncles, cousins and her very special friend Paul R. Armstrong of Houlton.
    Her special joys in this life were her nieces, nephews, several loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    At Carolyn’s request, there will be no visiting hours or service. A celebration of life will take place on Sat. Nov 6, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Monticello Pentecostal Church. Donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
