Since the opening of the Caribou Performing Arts Center, the Robinson Ballet has journeyed north 13 times to present its acclaimed version of “The Nutcracker.” This holiday tradition continued on Sunday, Nov. 28 at 2 p.m.
“It’s a very professional and polished experience,” stated Joe Zubrick, CPAC director, “from their advance work through their tech and performance, this company is a class act.”
According to Zubrick, the word ‘tradition’ means, ‘a long-established custom handed down from generation to generation.’ A tradition, he said, is something to be shared and to witness anew and relive each year in the eyes of a child experiencing it for the first time.
“We’re trying to establish a special tradition with “The Nutcracker,” said Zubrick, “it’s a perfect time for families to come together and to share in a rare and special performance. You will be transported into a dreamland and enchanted by fairies, dolls, soldiers, angels, a Snow Queen, a Snow Prince and of course the Rat King — all brought to magical life by the extraordinary dancers of the Robinson Ballet Company.”
