Kathleen Anne Howland and and Jacob Albro Cowperthwaite were united in marriage on August 7, 2010. Lloyd Chase, grandfather of the groom, performed the ceremony.
Kathleen is the daughter of Sarah and Jeff Howland of Linneus. She is a 2002 graduate of Houlton High School, and a 2006 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono with a BA in psychology. She is currently employed as a preschool teacher at Children’s Time in South Portland.
Jacob is the son of Linda and Albro Cowperthwaite of New Limerick. He is a 1999 graduate of Houlton High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono with a BS in electrical engineering, and a 2005 graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park with an MS in electrical engineering. He is currently employed as an electrical engineer with Key Technologies, Inc. in Baltimore, Maryland.
The couple reside in South Portland.
