The Alien Abduction

    It was a hot summer day and I asked my mom if I could have Tom over for the night. She said yes.
    When Tom arrived at my house, he asked, “Jake, do you want to go play a game outside?”
    I said, “Yeah sure. What do you want to play?”
    He said he wanted to play spies. We played for a while. Then my mom told us to go to bed because it was getting late.
    After we went to bed Tom had to go to the bathroom. After ten minutes, he didn’t come back so I went to look for him. I looked all over the house and I couldn’t find him. Just then I saw a strange light outside so I went to investigate. When I got outside, I found Tom staring at something that looked like a giant, glowing orb. Then something came out of it … and it was an alien!
    The alien came and grabbed us both and took us to the glowing orb. Inside the orb, it looked like a shiny, silver technological room. In the room, there were tables and some sort of paper on each table. The aliens took us to the tables and it seemed that they wanted us to write something. But how? They gave us a small stick. I wrote on the paper the words what do you want with us. They wrote in English that they wanted to know about our world.
    We wrote what we knew and then they read it. They seemed to be satisfied. We asked if we could go back and they agreed to send us back.
    When we got back, I tried to tell my mom but she didn’t believe me. I got Tom to try and tell her but she still didn’t believe us. Eventually, we gave up trying to tell her.
