Do you ever get sick of drama? Do you feel like it’s impossible to escape? Do your friends drag you into their fights? Just follow these rules and you’ll be drama free. I would know, I’ve been doing this for a while now..
One simple way to avoid drama is ignore hearsay. Hearsay is the rumors that are spread throughout the school. When someone comes up to you or you overhear a conversation about someone, ignore it. Try starting a new topic or acting as if you never heard them. This will make life so much easier for you.
A second way to not get caught up in drama is when your friends are fighting, don’t get involved. If one of them starts to talk about the other, say something like, “I don’t like to gossip. For one, it’s not necessary, and secondly, I’m friends with them. I don’t want to hear your negatory words.” They should stop gossiping and change the subject. If you do that, your friends will respect you more because they know they can trust you.
Be the friend who will always be there for someone. Keep secrets if someone tells you something. Even if your friend doesn’t say to keep it to yourself, that’d probably be the best idea. To be a good friend, you should be friends with everyone. Don’t exclude anyone from your “posse” because everyone is equal. People will look up to you for being the person who doesn’t care whom you’re seen with.
Don’t use negative words towards others, it only causes fights. Be open and friendly to everyone, even if someone is mean to you. Fighting fire with fire only makes a bigger fire, so keep in mind that no one is perfect because we all make mistakes
Well, now that you have followed these steps, you should be drama free. Keep up the good work, and make sure to tell your friends about how to steer clear of drama!
