Vice president Francis Fitzpatrick, left, of the Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum welcomed Rural Development State Director Virginia Manuel for the occasion of the museum’s 10th anniversary. Manuel recently announced that the museum was the recipient of a $16,900 grant to assist with the roof replacement project. “I am so pleased that this facility has been selected to receive grant funds which will help it remain an important asset to the community as it supports the strong legacy of farming in Aroostook County,” she said. Manuel also presented Fitzpatrick with a plant for the museum.
