Bates-Rarick engagement announced

    Leah Ann Bates of Houlton and Josh Caleb Rarick of Dayton, Ohio announce their engagement.
    Leah is the daughter of John and Carole Bates of Houlton. She is a 2007 graduate of Houlton High School and a 2010 graduate of Northern Maine Community College with an Associates degree in Medical Assisting. She is currently employed at Houlton Regional Hospital.
    Josh is the son of Don and Sue Rarick of Dayton, Ohio. He is a 2004 graduate of Northmont High School and a 2009 graduate of University of Cincinnati with a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. He is currently receiving his Masters in Secondary Education, to be completed in the summer of 2013. He is currently employed at Miami Valley Career Technology Center as a math teacher.
    A June 2013 wedding is being planned.
